The Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act-2005) was a revolutionary advance towards accountability and transparency in India's legislative landscape. With its effective date of June 15, 2005, this historic law represents a significant turn toward citizen empowerment by giving people the priceless right to access information stored by public agencies. The RTI Act of 2005 has far-reaching effects and encourages transparency in the workings of all public entities, including educational institutions.
An act to provide for setting out the practical regime of the right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority, the constitution of the Central Information Commission and State. Our college is working to fulfill the aim of such an object
