ABHIVYAKTI – the college magazine is the mirror of college life. It is an annual feature and is brought out regularly. It provides a platform to students and teachers alike to express their views on a variety of topics and issues. The magazine serves as a portal of creative writing culture of the college. Released every year in April, marks the culmination of all the activities in the college.. Hence it departs greatly from the casual attitude and projects a professional image while maintaining the distinctive D.A-V. flavour in its articles.
The college provides separate common rooms for boys and girls. The girls’ common room is situated on the first floor above the principal’s office. It has all the basic amenities like magazines, drinking water, toilet, and proper sitting facilities. The boys’ common room is situated close to the Students’ Union building. It has all necessary amenities to make the students feel comfortable.
There is a college branch of the U.P. Co-operative Bank on the Campus. The Bank offers transaction facilities to the staff and students. The bank acts as the financial hub for the students who are eligible for scholarships and for all those who are bonafide students of the college.
