The nature club was constituted in the year 2021-2022 by honorable principal sir. The committee members are -

The aim of the Nature Club is to raise awareness and sensitivity about the environment among members of the society. In the current situation, continuous environmental imbalance is evident due to drastic climatic changes which is a serious issue. The rise in the temperature is caused by global warming, a critical worldwide problem as our natural resources- glaciers, mountains, forests, oceans etc. are being exploited, leading to an increase in natural disasters compared to the past.

The biodiversity is being affected day by day. Many species of plants or animals i.e.; both flora as well as fauna are becoming extinct or are at risk of extinction. In addition to the loss of biodiversity but land slide, drought, floods, volcano eruptions, earthquake etc. are becoming more frequent worldwide.

Currently, many renowned environmentalists are the members of our nature club. These members guide and educate our students about the environment and the importance of protecting mother earth.

I hope that our nature club will achieve its goal of sensitizing and educating students about environment and they will able benefit from the vast knowledge shared by renowned environmentalists in the nature’s club Whats App group.

Objective

• To enroll members for the club and to create awareness among the students and the staff about the need for protection of natural habitat.
• To invite speakers to talk on environmental protection.
• To organize relevant programmes.
• To maintain the records of the activities conducted and submit the same to the IQAC Committee.
